Crabbing is one of the famous pastime activities on Vancouver Island, and it’s easy to see why, as there is a year-round harvesting season for various sea critters. I’ve mentioned a few snow-centered activities you can do on Vancouver Island, but I haven’t shared one that is kid-friendly and ideal for a Pacific Northwest family vacation.
The town center where the major shops are often located some distance from the beach front, in small towns this is not very far but in larger towns it can be a few miles.
